We are about to launch a King Crab breeding project with the support of the Healthy Reef Initiative (HRI) here at the scientific station in Cayo Menor. The goal is to increase the population of these organisms, as they are among the herbivores that consume the most algae. By doing so, they help maintain a balance in algae growth, allowing more corals to thrive.
