Join the Hawksbill Sea Turtle Nesting Volunteer Program in our Marine Protected Area and contribute to marine conservation research. Open to everyone, this annual program involves monitoring sea turtle nesting through activities like night and day patrolling of beaches, recording data, and safeguarding nests. Your participation, whether as a seasoned conservationist or a first-time volunteer, directly impacts the survival of these endangered species. Join us for this unique experience and help protect sea turtles in Cayos Cochinos.
The volunteer package includes: transportation from La Ceiba to Cayos Cochinos, accommodation, meals, and comprehensive training (no prior experience needed) . Choose the dates that work best for you and dedicate at least one week of your time.
